Sadly, we have to advise the loss of Barry's wife June on 02/12/03 Our condolances to Barry and his family.

Barry Briggs was born in Christchurch New Zealand, in 1934. He was to start Speedway Racing in 1951 and win all the sport had to offer including an unrivalled record in international events and become world individual champion four times.
