1.Giacomo Agostini. In pouring rain, "Ago" blasts the 350cc 3 cylinder MV Agusta flat out down the straight at Monza in 1968. This original is painted in gouache on 400 gsm art paper is 20' x 16' and is a private collection

2.Geoff Duke (Manx Norton). From the Isle of Man TT Races, from 1952. A commissioned painting for Mr. P. Nicholson in gouache.

3.The little Swiss rider Luigi Taveri at the Ballaugh Bridge jump at the Isle of Man TT races, riding the 125cc Honda four cylinder. A worthy world champion and a very, very nice man. A recently completed commission for Mr. Jim Lilley.

4. A one off painting of a German husband and wife sidecar racing team. It was commissioned by the good lady of this brave pair, as a surprise Christmas gift for her partner and husband. In a private collection.

5.The greatest motorcycle road racer ever: 15 times World Champion, and with a 122 Grand Prix to his name, Giacomo Agostini airborn on the MV Agusta at the Isle of Man TT races. An original gouache painting and in the collection of Mr.J.Geddis

6.In many opinion, the most exciting rider to emerge from the US is Kevin Schwantz. To have only one World Championship to his name is a huge injustice. An original oil painting, and in a private collection.

7.Barry Sheene during his world championship years. This gouache painting was signed by Barry himself at the British Grand Prix, Donington Park 2000. It is now in a private collection.

8.The last in the long line of the successful 500cc MV Agusta four cylinder machine, as raced by Agostini during the 1976 season. In the collection of Mr.G.Owens. An original gouache painting.


9.John Surtees airborn at Ballaugh Bridge on the TT Isle of Man course on the 350cc works MV Agusta. An original gouache painting the collection of Barry Tulley.


10.Max Biaggi at speed wining the 250cc World Championship for the fourth consecutive occasion this time on a Honda machine. An original gouache painting in the collection of Mr.J Geddis.

11.Team leader for the works Suzuki team during the '60's; Frank Perris. Frank is seen here at the French Grand Prix at speed on his 10 speed 125cc Suzuki. Original gouache painting, in the collection of M. Robert Prost.

12.Jarno Sarrinen. Tragically killed in a race crash that also cost the life of Renzo Pasolini at Monza, Italy in 1972. This brilliant motorcycle racer would have won many more races and championships had he lived longer. Racing fans were robbed when this young man was taken. An original gouache painting, in the collection of Mr. Brian Evans.

13.The Rain Master himself, Michael Schumacher winning the British Grand Prix at Silverstone during the 1998 Formula One season. Original gouache painting on paper in the collection of Mr. Brian Evans.

14.Mike Duff. An exceptional talent who became a Grand Prix winner and second in the world championships. After a gender alteration operation she now lives as Michelle Duff. An original gouache painting and in the collection of Mr.B. Evans

15.A Honda Montage style painting which was commissioned by MR. J. Lilley. Completed in gouache medium it is signed by all the riders illustrated from the era of the '60's. Jim Redman, Luigi Taveri, Ralph Bryans, Tommy Robb and Derek Minter

16.Painted in profile, this is Tarquino Provini riding the Benelli during the 1965 TT races in the Isle of Man. A commissioned work.

17.Giacomo Agostini illustrated on the last version of the 350cc four cylinder MV Agusta at an end of season meeting at Brands Hatch in 1974. A commission by Arnaldo Wittemberg.

18.'The Power and the Glory', an all British fighter plane; the BAC Lightning, featured with the all successful and very popular Manx Norton. Painted in gouache, as an experiment for possible future subjects. It is also counter signed by Norton stars; John Surtees and Geof Duke. In a private Collection.

19. Renzo Pasolini representing the marque of Benelli. A commissioned painting to coincide with the Benelli parade at the year 2000 TT races.

20. Danny Shimmin. A commissioned painting from one Danny's sponsors and friends. Danny sadly lost his life in a race crash during the 1999 Manx Grand Prix.

21. David Jefferies. In the private collection of Mr.G. McGivern. A commissioned painting of David from the 1999 TT event in the Isle of Man.

22. Kevin Schwantz. A recently completed one off project, now in a private collection

23. A commission by my local motorcycle dealer who assisted this young man to win the National one make Apilia cup championship in 2001. The picture was very recently presented to him as a surprise.

24. 'Haga San'. A recently commissioned painting in gouache that may be available as a print in the near future.

25. Part one of four classic paintings that will depict action over the years from the Isle of Man TT races. This first one illustrates Bill Ivy on the four cylinder RD05.

26. A commissioned painting for Mr. Phillip Morris of Giacomo Agostini and Phil Read both on MV Agusta's which was subsequently signed by both riders.

27. A commissioned painting for the Kawasaki riders club of Holland. Features Eddie Lawson aboard the Kawasaki US Superbike and a pencil portrait sketch.

28. King Kenny Roberts winner of the 500cc world championship in 1978. Illustrated at speed on the Yamaha and a pencil portrait sketch. Still in the pocession of the artist.

29. A commission from Swedens ex five times World Speedway Champion Ove Fundin, who now lives in retirement in the South of France.

30. John Surtees at speed on the half faired MV Agusta. This was counter signed by John Surtees and was Sold at a Bonham & Brooks auction

31. Phil Read leads Giacomo Agostini and Barry Sheene in the mid 70's. An original painting that was purchased by a private collector.

32. Sensation of the early 70's was the amazing little man from Spain; Santiago Herrero. On his single cylinder Ossa, he blew the might of the works factory Yamaha work machines into the weeds. He was tragically killed whilst taking part in the Isle of Man TT races. The original painting is in the collection of Brian Evans.

33. A new commission for Mr. Andrew Gaunt of Jarno Saarinen winning the big race at Daytona on a 350cc Yamaha. Painted for the first in the Yamaha America colours.

34. Recently commissioned painting of the late Barry Sheene on the RG500 from the late 70's in a private collection.

35. The late Barry Sheene on the Fred Walmsey prepared 500cc Manx Norton at the British Grand Prix at Donington Park in 2002. in a private collection.

36. Recently completed painting of the late Mike Hailwood and Giacomo Agostini. Now sold and in a private collection.

37. Recently completed painting of Giacomo Agostini on an MV Agusta from the Belgium Grand Prix at Spa. In a private collection.

38. Recently completed painting of Phil Read on a Kirby AJS 7R from the 1964 Junior TT race. counter signed by Phil. SOLD,

Many of the above paintings were commissions from clients. I will undertake a motor sport commission which will cost in the region of between £350 and £500. It usually takes about 3 weeks to complete and I would need a sharp photograph as a reference. Size would be around 22" x 17" and would be supplied in a mount and with a stiff back board, but unframed. I usually start the work with a £50.00 deposit, and the balance payable when the work is complete. Special delivery with insurance will be required.
