Well, we have now finsihed our outside events for this year, our last one being the recent Japanese Stafford Classic bike show at the Stafford show ground. This is
is always as a good turn out event and enjoyable one for me. To see so many restord bikes looking better than brand new from my youth.
I managed to get a chance to speak to one of my road racing hero's: 'Fast' Freddie Spencer. Also, he was kind enough to sign a few of my photo's for me. What a gracious and charming man he is.
I told him that I was lucky enough to see him win his first 500cc Grand Prix at Spa Francorchamps, Belgium in 1982. It was the first time Honda had won a 500cc Grand Prix since Mike Hailwood in 1967.
The last race meeting we attend was the Gold Cup which was at Scarborough in September and was a decent meeting it was. I managed to get some quite decent photo's I
think Guy Martin won his 8th consecutive Gold Cup victory. Great weekend weather wise it was too.
We still have a few signed prints remaining of the Danish speedway rider Hans Andersen; £29.99 plus £3.50 p&p.
I might be working on a couple more new speedway prints and to get them out in time for Christmas, postal strikes allowing of course.
